Clinical and Forensic Psychology Practice

Dr Masotta Dr. Masotta received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Hartwick College. She then pursued her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Forensic Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Massachusetts/Worcester State Hospital was accredited by the American Psychological Association. She completed a post-graduate certificate program in Forensic Mental Health from the University of Massachusetts Law and Psychiatry Program.  She is credentialed as a Designated Forensic Psychologist by the state of Massachusetts.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Masotta has provided clinical services and consultation, training and monitoring services in various prisons throughout the United States. As a Forensic Psychologist, she has conducted court-ordered forensic evaluations and provided expert testimony. Evaluations include involuntary commitment for psychiatric treatment, commitment for substance abuse, aid-in-sentencing, competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility.

Dr. Masotta is also committed to teaching and supervising students and training professionals. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Framingham State University and has taught various undergraduate and graduate psychology courses. She has presented at various national conferences.
